May 12 at 7 pm: The Premier Book Club will discuss The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court by Jeffrey Toobin

May 16 (Saturday):  The store closes to the public.

May 18 at 7 pm: Globetrotting Crimes Book Group will discuss The Mystery Writer by Jessica Mann (England during WW II)

May 19 (Tuesday: Note change of date) at 7 pm: Theology Book Group will discuss All Out of Faith: Southern Women on Spirituality Edited by Wendy Reed and Jennifer Horne

Dear Customers and Friends,

We have decided to close our business on May 16.  Customers who have credit or gift certificates will have until Saturday, May 9 to use them.  This will allow us time to remove any remaining inventory.
  

Some other things that you need to know include:   (1) If you need  new books or books that are hard-to-find/out of print, we can continue to order those books for you.  For those of you who have books preordered,  we will get those books for you.    (2) Our current policies on the use of credit remain in effect.    (3) We will not be taking any used books (4) Book clubs and any other scheduled events will continue.    WE ARE OPEN. 

This business has allowed us to meet many wonderful people and be involved with a fine community.  For that, we are grateful.  Now, we are moving on to another part of our lives.  One thing that we plan to do is really retire and READ books! 

Thank you for supporting us and allowing us to be part of the Georgetown business community.    We will miss you.
